Apr 12th 2012 11:35AM Bets & Susan: sorry to say your thinking and reasoning is flawed, you need to open your eyes a bit? nobody wants to allow tax cheats to go unpunished, or not to collect what they lawfully owe? we all have to pay our fair share of tax and so should they. but this law is totally unnecessary and not needed, we have hundreds of laws now on the books, Federal, state and local to go after and to collect non-paid taxes? the answer here is to simply grow a spine and start using those laws that we already have on the books to go after legitimate tax cheats and I am NOT speaking of the little guy whos a W-2 wage earner and simply neglected to file, or ran a fowl of the tax laws to some small degree, we already have rules and systems in place by which the little guy can get help settling their legitimate tax delinqunecy? its the big timer, wealthy and corporate giants that owe large sums, or who fraglantly chose to decive the tax laws which we need to get tuff in going after. its also these big time guys who will least be affected by any law such as this, they hide their incomes and taxes behind shell corps and have unlimited tax lawyers to sheild them, it will be the little guy on a wage that pays the most and this is simply not what our country was founded on, this type of Marxist abuse!!! we all need to join together this year and roll the bums out, starting at the oval orafice?

Apr 12th 2012 11:09AM It figures OF COURSE, that this Marxist bill would be sponsored by a Progressive/Communist such as Barbara Boxer, D - La, La, Land (California) the champion of of restrictive, big government causes on all fronts? after having read this was who wrote this stupid bill and that it even got traction in the equally stupid Senate, which is also controlled, (narrowly thank god) by other fringe Progressive/Communist type people, I was relieved somewhat by the knowledge this bill will never see the light of day beyond the Senate chambers as it will have to go before the house of representatives before it can ever actually become a real law and pass its way on to the desk of Barack Hussien Obummer, of which we could be sure he would sign such a breach of Americans rights of movements and travel? don't get me wrong its not tax cheats I want to protect, they should have to pay their fair share of taxes, or be jailed? but to pass a law that goes against everything we Americans believe in, individual rights and government that isn't tracking and restricking our movements is simply Un-American and Un-Constitutional at its root? also its a slippery sloap to further laws restricting our movements and freedoms within our own country and God only knows what else to come later on? Nix this beast before it can draw a breath!!

Apr 3rd 2012 3:48PM I am sorry to have to say it but this is not some "fantastic" tree house ordaned by God! its an extremely poorly built, (and I use the word built loosely) tree shack? there is no ryme or reason and absolutely was NOT built in a workmanlike fashion at all!! old boards are just slapped together hap hazardly like pop sickle sticks more than a ture tree house? posters say they have been in it and its abandoned, yet the article claims this guy lives in this house? truly great tree houses can be found in Oregon and Washington where some have built tree house bed and breakfast's, those are really built with skill and yet rough like a tree house?

Mar 13th 2012 4:36PM I absolutely do NOT feel the least bit sorry for either one of these fools that were used as examples! I have advertised some on craigs list, got a couple of legitimate sales, but also a ton of "offers" that seemed legitimate, but I could tell they were fakes. I didn't stoop to fall for them, some I even played them along for a while just to waste their time, if everyone would "play: these people for a couple weeks but not take their bate it would put them all out of business? also not expecting to get something cheap, or for free helps in not getting taken by these Nigerian scams? IF it sounds too good to be true, IT IS!!!

Mar 3rd 2012 7:32AM OK, now lets all get REAL here. this man, Peter, it is very clear is NOT the villian of the story as he was painted by the media in the initial story, its clear his eviction of the mother,(although poorly thought out) was geared at getting this alchoholic/leach of a brother out of the house which he is sitting in rent free, while stealing monies from his 89 year old mother? of course this nice lady is being abused by the alcoholic son with all those charges for liquer and cigs on her statements? this brother Jack is the true creep of the story, not Peter, who is simply trying to help his mom? seeking a conservatorship should have been done in the first place, and now that has been done, then the family can decide if they want to evict the son? rather than sending death threats to Peter, people should just zip it and leave him alone, he is actually doing the right thing for his mother, who was and likly is being abused? even Jacks own son stands with Peter, his uncle!! that should tell you something?

Feb 18th 2012 2:31AM its just too darned bad that the husband, in 1996 and the mother trusted their own son enough to have deeded the home to him, (with the stipulation she can live there the rest of her life) I would think a court of law can and should disolve those trusts and restore back the title to the mother? this can be done absolutely it can be done and it should be done? the son prepetrated a fraud on his own mother and therefor the trust should be nullified, disolved, etc..etc...what a dirt bag!!!

Jan 18th 2012 9:44PM as far as I know Regis and Joy have no close family, Regis has a couple of kids from his long ago first marriage, one a son who is wheelchair bound his whole life, Regis has all but abandoned that son many years ago and only gave him money when it got out to the media how badly he treated him, then he shelled out a few small bucks to make himself look good? I have never liked Regis Philbin ever since hearing how bad he treated his kids from his first marriage?

Oct 17th 2011 5:02PM Tammy: Thank you Tammy for making a clear and concise statement about a subject nobody seems to want to hear? all these kooks protesting down at the parks need to hear this and learn something from it? sure as you said there is plenty of blame to go around and the banks, insurance companies and yes the realtors and mortgage brokers hands are not clean either...but when you get down to it the people that signed off on these promises have to take a huge amount of the responsibility as well? when we ALL come clean with ourselves and get down to business cleaning up our own messes, holding our governments to real budgets and holding our financial institutions to the laws we will dig ourselves out of this mess, but its not going to happen unless and until we all of us take ownership of the problems first and seek to rectify them!!
