New Wired for iPad issue out now, Adobe's picking up the tab (TUAW.com)
Apr 28th 2011 2:27PM Wired hasn't been any good for years. Now they just run a lot of lazy sensationalist stories. They should pay me to read them.
This is why I stay with Apple (TUAW.com)
Mar 21st 2011 10:00AM Dell etc have a MUCH lower average in terms of support not slightly lower. There are many many surveys and reports that quantify this.
This is why I stay with Apple (TUAW.com)
Mar 21st 2011 9:58AM You obviously have very little experience with other companies extended service plans.
Plus if you had actually read and comprehended the article you would know Apple did a major costly repair on his laptop after all warranties expired.
Notes on the iPad 2 launch (TUAW.com)
Mar 6th 2011 1:35PM Anyone who actually believes the Samsung quote was really a mistranslation is a fool. He said quite small if only for the reason that quite smooth makes no sense.
Apple drops Consumer Reports/iPhone 4 threads down memory hole [updated] (TUAW.com)
Jul 12th 2010 7:56PM Dell does this. HP does this. Pretty much everyone does. I don't like companies doing this but why is it only news when Apple does it?
Oh right, because people want to knock them off their pedestal and don't mind being hypocritical when they do.
Motorola Droid getting 2.0.1 now, Verizon posts details (Engadget)
Dec 7th 2009 4:18PM Kids, kids, kids...I'm not dumb enough to buy a Droid...it's still at least a generation behind the iPhone.
All you have to do is root it to use more than 256MB of ram? ahahahhahaha. So many things wrong with that statement.
Poor things. You bought in to Verizon and Motorola's commercials designed for teenage boys.
Barnes & Noble Nook review (Engadget)
Dec 7th 2009 9:23AM I don't see the point. I expect we will see tablets from Apple and others soon that will be ereaders and much more. They will kill all of these devices. Android in all it's forms is a half finished mess. Barnes and Nobles is in serious financial trouble and I would not buy a device like this form them that may be orphaned.
Apple adds 3.33GHz Xeon, 2TB hard drive options to Mac Pro (Engadget)
Dec 5th 2009 8:49PM Always amusing to see the teenagers here mouth off about things they nothing about.
Newsflash, all vendors charge way over New Egg prices for add ons like memory and bigger hard drives. Go check Dell's site. Or HP's or any other site.
The Mac Pro is not the same as some piece of crap PC you put together by buying parts from new Egg.
The Mac Pro has been consistently cheaper than other workstation class machines from Dell and elsewhere. You see in the real world, where daddy doesn't buy you a PC, the first thought is not about frame rates in WOW.
Michael Arrington says CrunchPad litigation is 'imminent,' provides more details -- but where's the contract? (Engadget)
Dec 5th 2009 7:37PM Arrington is a dope and a compulsive liar.
Emblaze's First Else unveiled in London, promises to be a game-changer (Engadget)
Dec 3rd 2009 11:29PM Engadget gives them a glowing writeup, which should be the first warning that this thing is gonna be a dud. From what I can see, the phone, which is called First Else (catchy!), looks like a Droid with a fan-shaped menu structure. Little advice on fan-shaped menus — been there, done that, and nobody likes them. Nor do people like learning a whole new way of doing everything. There’s a reason we use names like “Address Book” and “Calendar” and “Photo Album.” People want to pick up a new device and know how to use it. They want it to work like all the other stuff in their life. They don’t want some gadget that just fell from outer space. But hey, knock yourself out.
