Dec 20th 2007 2:28AM Oh please, sounds like another money grubbing politician trying to earn some more money off another taxed item. I stongly doubt it's going to affect sales of the soft drinks, but he better be using the money for what he said he would do...
If he is, it's good seeing that he's trying to do something about the obeist problem, but I think there are some better solutions then taxing mountain dew...
At least he isn't taking money from public schools, they already have enough problems in this area (with the government making biased claims and turning them into the bad guys, seriously, I was sick to my heart when Bush said he was going to give 200 million dollars to public schools and people cheered...that is 100 million less then what they usually got...)

If they make ripping music from cds illegal, which will most likely take away burning, putting them on mp3 players, and other stuff, then you can say good by to the cd discs cause everyone's just going to buy itune cards and microsoft points to buy music...what idiots, I bought the cd and I have a right to put those songs on my mp3 because I don't feel like carrying it around with a junky cd player!

Oct 8th 2007 10:50PM Intellec making you fat? What the heck? Well, sure their are a number of (smart) nerds who are fat, but I don't think this isn't really true. It all depends on what kind of person you are I say if you want to lose weight or not.
Personally, I consider myself a nerd, but that doesn't stop me from being active. I love playing soccer, strategy games, the guitar, runescape, all that stuff. I even guzzle food like crazy but I'm still pretty darn skinny.(sorry if I rambled on a bit here, I think I went bit off topic here lol)
To me, it seems the question "Is intelligence making you fat?" rather goes off topic with the information here (if anything, it's an insult saying that intelligence people are insecure or don't have enough faith in theirself or something along those lines) , personally, I find it misses the point completely. What I think what makes you fat depends upon your life style and personality, not your iq level.
Sorry if I went a bit off topic or missed the point a bit, I take stuff too literally lol
