Thanks to Social Media, the GreenBox Pizza Container Is Picking Up Steam (Asylum)
Mar 14th 2010 9:38PM Normal pizza boxes are "green". This is just a new invention and not necessarily any more convient. Pizza stored in a box does not last longer than pizza stored in baggies. It's "green" baggies people should be buying.
Cake Balls on a Roll in Texas (Slashfood)
Feb 19th 2010 2:07AM "Cake Balls" LOL Are you guys serious?
Did it ever occur to anybody that that "cake balls" are just ghetto petit fours?
Does anybody even know what a petit four is? LOL
Hint: It's tiny cakes, often fondant-covered. I don't know for sure but I think that petit fours are the inspiration behind Lil' Debbies zebra cakes and similar cakes. Petit fours are far smaller though.

Kirk Cameron Defends Attack on 'Species' (PopEater)
Sep 26th 2009 4:35PM I'm surprised by all the insane comments. Let me set the record straight.
1.) Unlike Religion, Science deals with evidence. Evolution is a FACT, not a guess and not 'just a theory'.
2.) The Bible has been proven wrong time and time again in the past. The reason why believers don't know about this is because, 1.) ignorance about science, and 2.) ignorance about the history of their own religion.
3.) The United States of America was not, repeat NOT founded in Christianity. People confuse the Puritans/Pilgrims with the founding fathers...big difference. The Puritans settled here for religious differences with the Church of England and Catholicism. The majority of the founding fathers were Deists. Deists will go to Church just like a normal Christian, but their actual beliefs are quite different. Deists do not believe in a personal god. They reject prayer, miracles, the concept of sin, and some even reject Jesus. To the Deist, God only created the universe, that's it. He is not a personal god. Then quite a few of the founding fathers were also Freemasons, who aslo embrace a Deistic view of God.
Got that? Need more info? Go to your library and check out a book every now and then. Enroll in classes. Educated yourselves.
Family of Dead Man Freaked Out by Gravesite Voodoo Find (Asylum)
Aug 21st 2009 3:52PM That Gwen poster is right. Sometimes this has nothing to do with the person that is actually buried there. People who are doing "black magic", or magic to harm, will often take the remnants to the graveyard to conclude the spell.
In this case, it is most likely a spell to harm the owner of the panties, meaning we are dealing with most likely a female perp, a woman who performed the spell.
Despite what I wrote above, it is possible that one of the deceased's own family members did it. They may be trying to invoke the spirit of ther deceased relative in order to get revenge on, to harm, or even to kill the owner of the panties.
Another explanation would be that the spell was done to keep a woman faithful, but I'm not leaning toward that possibility.

Colombian Devil's Breath -- The World's Scariest Drug (Asylum)
Jul 6th 2008 10:30PM You don't have to travel to exotic countries to get Scopalamine. Try the garden or a loal field.
Plants w/ Scopalomine:
Datura (Jimson Weed, Devil Weed, Thornapple, Devil Trumpet, Angel Trumpet) - garden flower, usualy having white, yellow, or purple flowers, though the most common flowers found in gardens are white. (I recently passed by a church which had large white-flowering Datura all over it's flowerbed.) The plant produces a large seedpod covered in thorns (hence, 'thornapple') Trivia: Devil Trumpets are species of Datura w/ flowers pointing heavenward. Angel Trumpets are species w/ flowers pointing downward. The name 'Jimson Weed' comes from the settles of Jamestown who mistakenly ate the plant and were poisoned.
Henbane (Sorcerer's berry/cherry, Devil's Eyes) -wild plant, pale yellow flowers w/ purple veins and a purple-ish-brown center (the devil's 'eye'). This was the plant given to Odesseus by Hermes to protect him from Circe's spells.
Horsenettle - wild plant (pretty purple flowers, yellow berries, all of the plant has prickly needles, grows all over the place where I live.)
Belladonna (spanish for 'beautiful lady', as woman used to use eyedrops made from the black berries to dilate their eyes and make them more sexualy attractive.) Belladonna is a wild plant.
All of these plants were listed as ingrediants of witchcraft, especialy to produce a 'flying ointment' the witch would rub over her naked body. It is now believed the the myth of witches having the ability to fly was truly a hallucination brought on by the toxins of these plants.
Also, these same plants were also listed as ingrediants of a salve that was used by 'werewolves' to transform into a wolf. It is likewise believed that this was also caused by hallucinations brought on by these plants.
All of these plants are poisonous. Please do not ingest, smoke, or make a salve out of these plants.
How to paint your office smoking area (That's Fit)
Jul 22nd 2007 10:25PM This is getting ridiculous. People act like if you smoke you are guarenteed to die from a smoking-related illness/complication, when in reality 2 out of every 3 smokers will not. (1 in every 3 will). Yes, it's bad for you and yes, it's a nasty habit. However, I for one am not going to let the media tell me who to target for the next fad hate-campaign.
I wonder what negative habits, and we all have them, the creators of the funeral painting have?
Would they consider painting this on the ceiling of a bar? How about on the top of a box of twinkies? How about on a box of condoms?
Face it folks, we are hard-wired for addiction of any sort.
