Sep 10th 2009 10:46AM I'm 22 and was taught cursive writing in 2nd and 3rd grade. I prefer writing in cursive I think my print hand writing looks ugly. Cursive handwriting was always encouraged by my teachers. Maybe it's because I grew up in a small town and I guess "old time values" such as writing in cursive were appreciated.
