First off..
Have you heard some of the sounds that new phones make? Those sounds could keep any four year old occupied for wayy longer then any regular toys can.
Second...
Go out and try to take a toy away from a kid that loves it.. It's more trouble then it's worth, trust me.
Third..
I've called 911 a few times, for various rightful reasons, and at times.. it's rang close to 10-12 times before someone answered.. they call THAT dependable emergency responce? And with phones.. it's really easy to redial the last number over and over.. and you're right. Some toy phones do 'talk' to the children, ever think that MAYBE just MAYBE thats why the child kept repeatidly hitting those buttons? Cause she heard a voice?
Stupid? Yeah, right. Whatever, she's actually quite intellegent. I didn't learn my addy till I was like 9..
