This ad is fine. I've seen more egregious material on the Mickey Mouse Playhouse..If you're that easily offended, go live in a cave.

I take the pix for ME not necessarily others. I see pix of my family vacations and I am *instantly* taken back to that moment. Usually it's the pic that sparks the memory in the first place.
Amy Poehler Interview for 'Parks and Recreation' (Inside TV Blog)
Apr 7th 2009 10:48AM Jeez you guys, who peed in your soup?
I agree that SNL is hit and miss. But it's ALWAYS been hit and miss. Don't you think you're expecting a bit too much if you think every skit and every actor should make you wet yourself with laughter? Do you also expect every at-bat be a home run, every pass a touchdown, every child above average? Get real.
Many (not all) of these people don't go on to have highly successful careers post-SNL by duping the public.
Ok, I'll give you that Eddie Murphy has phoned in every movie he's made since Beverly Hills cop, but Mike Myers, Will Ferrel, Tina Fey, Bill Murray, David Spade, Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, Chevy Chase, and others made some (not every) pretty darn-funny movies.
Lighten up. Laugh a little.

Top Five Raciest Ads On the Web (Switched)
Jul 17th 2007 4:03PM I'm a 36 yr old father of three. I looked at the pix not knowing what to expect. Alas, I wasn't shocked. I've seen similar stuff in the mall, my mailbox, TV, mags, etc from the likes of A&F & Victoria's Secret. Those displays/ads usually feature about the same age young women (VS does typically have some older women as well).
Sure they're sexy and yes I like to look at the women but I don't think the ads are out of line any more than a Nike ad of a sweaty female athlete showing off her new running shorts or even something as mundane as watching a Travel Channel show with a 'world's best beaches' countdown.
As for other posters - yes there's a war, yes there's poverty, yes there's global warming. Hell, there's even (gag) Paris Hilton. However that doesn't necessarily negate this as a topic of discussion. Decency is always a reflection of a single snapshot in time of a society. While this topic probably won't result in loss of life or skyrocket the national debt, it should be allowed to be news for human consumption -- you're reading it, aren't you?
