Jun 15th 2008 10:03PM Around new constructions and greenbelt drainages. Found a 4 ft rattler one day. Neighbors had infants a crawlin round their secure, fenced backyards. Made two hat bands out of that puppy. Wasn't for the youngin I'd have tossed it back in the drainage from which it came. Guess it didn't like the moisture once rains started up. Very next day a neighbor found a 6 footer wrapped round a bush in my front yard. They called animal control to take care of it. I didn't see this one, it was a work day. When I was 12 years old, one morning I grabbed my engineer boot and knocked the heel on the floor, damn if I didn't pour a black widow spider outta than boot. Scart heck outta me I'll tell ya. Have know idea whatever possesed me to bang that boot heel. But glad I did. You just never know. . .
