Obama's Iowa Victory Speech {News Bloggers}
Jan 4th 2008 2:42PM I have attended many black churches and he did sound like a preacher to me as well. I personally think he is a good speaker but that doesnt mean anything to me. I'm looking for a man with "experience" and not one that will be learning it on the job when it comes to the Presidency of our country! Hes never ran a business or governed anything, hes a junior Senator that sits and argues (watch cspan to see what they accomplish!)and today we are living in a radical, Islamic terrorist, dangerous world, and we need to keep a presence in the Middle East. If we retreat from it, that beast will continue to grow AND GET STRONGER, get a clue people!

Jan 4th 2008 2:23PM I agree with Mark, where did this guy come from? What is his experience? What is his religious background? Are the people of the Middle East watching his sudden rise in American politics closely? Could this charismatic upstart be the enemy within, the possible future leader of our great Nation and our Military forces? My question to Obama is, "Why would A TRUE LEADER want to retreat and pull the troops out now when we are finally succeeding and the surge is obviously working?" I'll find a way to get the health insurance I need, but my security and that of my country is up to my Presidental Leader...So to my fellow Americans I ask...what are we willing to give up ...to get?

Jan 4th 2008 1:57PM I want to see this man who has not been hammered like Romney or Huckabee about his RELIGION, explain it to us...since he was so happy to mention his father being from the Middle East in his speech in Iowa, that was so easily overlooked by the greedy, what can you do for me crowd. Maybe he'll be the first President to be sworn in over the Koran (since we are making history here) he doesnt seem to care much for putting his hand over his heart when our Nation Athem is played or heaven forbid having to wear THAT pin...(will the flag flying over the White House become a thing of the past since the sight of it is so damned annoying?) People better get their heads out of there asses and start asking this guy some HARD questions for a change instead of picking someone because he can speak well, deceivers usually do but most of them dont have the opportunity to have their finger on THE BUTTON and THE ABILITY to destroy the United States of America in a second. All for allah...and oh yeah...and those berka covered virgins that are part of the promise.

Jan 4th 2008 1:35PM SO HE CAN GIVE A SPEECH, THAT QUALIFIES A 2 YEAR senator ALRIGHT AS FAR AS THE LOW EXPECTATION LIBERALS GO! BLA BLA BLA...HE SOUNDS LIKE A BLACK PREACHER, PREACHING TO THE CHOIR, ON THE PULPIT TO ME. I CANT SEE A "HUSSEIN OBAMA" AS PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES... NO MATTER HOW CONVINCEING/DECEIVING HIS PROMISES ARE TO THE GULABLE GIVE ME, GIVE ME, GIVE ME, TAKE CARE OF ME, PLEASE!!!! NOT ABLE TO MANAGE ON MY OWN CROWD.
Malaysian Health Minister Resigns in Sex Tape Scandal {News Bloggers}
Jan 4th 2008 12:45PM Good for the decent folks of Malaysia for booting this little pervert out and sending a clear message to future leaders that this is not acceptable behaviour and that they expect their representatives to do the job they were elected to do for the people! This guy took his eye off his job, and so abused his position of power and deserved what he got! This immoral, anything goes attitude, is whats wrong with governments today and people will definately get the government they deserve when they accept it! Expectation is lowered and then we all suffer. Some of you posters better pull yourselves up and get a clue!

Jan 4th 2008 12:22PM Sounds like most of you approve of a sexual pervert ruling over a people and a country as long as he apologises...what the hell is wrong with that picture?
Malaysian Health Minister Resigns in Sex Tape Scandal {News Bloggers}
Jan 4th 2008 12:16PM I thought leaders of people were suppose to be set to a higher standard? This man knew that and thats why he resigned... unlike our perverse ex-President Clinton who choise to remain in POWER (because thats what Clintons want at all costs) bringing shame to the office of our Presidency. If all of you who are saying it doesnt matter then we are indeed in more trouble than I thought! If morals dont matter then we are opening and offering ourselves up to the truely corrupt and perverse. I want better for my children and for my country, and I EXPECT it.

No Respect for Poetry {News Bloggers}
Jan 3rd 2008 7:18PM Some people pick and choose what historic places are important and which ones are not...thats obvious. Personally, I think if its historic no matter if it had to do with the Declaration or a beloved American poet it should be of concern and treasured. These out of control teens should be punished, immediately and severly, or else our National Treasures could become a free for all to this generation who obviously care little for history.

Jan 3rd 2008 7:00PM Athnea, it wasnt a "bungalow". It was the historic summer home of one of Americans most beloved poets that was broken into and "intentionally" destroyed by a bunch of drunken heathens. You imply the burned out Plantation was such a sad piece of forgotten history...so why do you belittle this historic home in the way you do? Either you truely care about historic places or you just want to tell your same tired story over and over again...I read it on Ada Calhouns blog yesterday...I had to crawl through brambles and vines...bla bla bla.
