Wisconsin Scores 83 Points in Destruction of Indiana (Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog)

Nov 13th 2010 10:33PM Somehow, I think not only other coaches at IU know what happened, but very possibly the residents of Siberia now know of the events that unfolded with respect to this particular game. The Yeti probably caught wind of this one.

Why Liberals Are Right to Refuse to Honor the Confederacy (Politics Daily)

Apr 12th 2010 9:20AM Amen, brother! Why libs want to revise history is always amazing to me. First off, if slavery were the main reason for the Civil War, why didn't Lincoln say so? Instead he waited over a year or so to suddenly "gain a conscience." Secondly, libs should remember that Lincoln was a Republican. Yes, a Republican president paved the way for slaves to be freed (go figure), although it was more out of expedience than true concern for the plight of slaves. I would tell people to go read a history book, but unfortunately, today, that is of little value. I was fed this crap when I was in high school, only to find out later in life that it was just not so.

Just How Risky Are Public Wi-Fi Hotspots? (Switched)

Nov 2nd 2009 11:29AM the bar graph simply gives a graphic of the various totals, what's so bad about that? the bigger issue resides with the 198 who are not sure if they have used their laptops in a coffee house. i wonder if they can remember their own names.

Newt Gingrich Takes Heat From the Right, but Will It Stick? (Politics Daily)

Renowned photog Annie Leibovitz could face more lawsuits (Daily Finance)

Why must the simple be overly complicated? The only thing that makes problems look complicated are complicated solutions. This is our government's number one problem. It is over complicating the simple and scaring people into believing everything the "enlightened, transparent" government tells them.

People who can't pay mortgages on homes they couldn't afford under normal circumstances need to be foreclosed upon and move into apartments. People who are in apartments who have been saving their money can buy the foreclosed properties at reduced prices. People facing foreclosure do not go to Lowe's and Home Depot to spruce up their digs. However, new home buyers do go to Lowe's and Home Depot to SPEND money, which, last time I checked, drives the economy. Reward the frugal and thrifty. Stop punishing us. Housing and mortgage problem solved. Next...

Let failing businesses go out of business or be bought by businesses who are better, stronger, and smarter. Don't give GM billions to pay bills only to force them into bankruptcy a month later. Our president said he doesn't WANT to buy car companies, but he HAS to buy car companies or the country will fall apart. Really, then why was Saturn sold to Roger Penske, SAAB to Koenigsegg, and Hummer to a Chinese heavy equipment manufacturer (didn't see that on the news, did we)? Turns out the "enlightened, transparent" government did sell divisions of GM, so why not the rest of it? Smells like union payola for all those votes. Keep the best parts of GM so the "enlightened, transparent" government can provide unions with more control. Not that it will come to anything as US car companies shut down more plants. I haven't met too many union line workers that I thought compentent enough to run a car company, but maybe I misjudged. My tax money could go to better purposes. Capitalism ALWAYS sorts out the strong from the weak, UNLESS the government gets involved. No more tax money for bail outs and sell ALL of GM to someone who knows how to run it. Problem solved. Next...

Prior to government intervention, they owned two businesses, USPS and Amtrak. Name two businesses that lose money every year. USPS and Amtrak. To that our "enlightened, transparent" government has added failed banks, car companies, and other mismanaged financial institutions. How about investing in Chick-Fil-A if you want to put my tax money to good use. Socialist policies have led to an extended recession and heightened unemployment (even over the "enlightened, transparent" government's intial estimates). Stop being a socialist and let capitalism right the ship. Problem solved. Next...

Government provided healthcare for the masses. Ask Candian doctors why they come here to get medical procedures for themselves. Hmmm....

Not too long ago people went to work so they could have a home, food, and healthcare benefits. Now the "enlightened, transparent" government wants to give these things to the citizens whether the citizens work or not. Once people realize they don't have to go to work to have housing, food, and healthcare, then everyone will stop working except for the fools. Incentive drives people, which drives the workplace, which drives the economy. However, when the incentive is to sit on your butt and wait for the government check to roll in, I can assure you unemployment will continue to be an issue. Stop handing out money to people who do not want to work and provide training to those who do and get them in the work force. Problem solved. Next...

Again, there are no complicated problems, as our "enlightened, transparent" government keeps telling us, only complicated solutions, which our "enlightened, transparent" government has given us.

Throw the rats off the ship.

The Murder of Dr. Tiller and Common Ground on Abortion (Politics Daily)

Jun 1st 2009 9:37AM tell it to the babies he murdered. his murder was wrong, but let's be careful how we throw around the word "innocent." For he was not so. as a Christian, I don't condone abortion, therefore, I don't condone murder in general of the innocent. The operative word is "innocent." Murderers are not innocent. He was basically standing in the middle of an interstate highway waiting to be hit. God used the pagan Babylonians to conquer the Jews (God's Chosen People) for disobedience. Everyone loves to hail God as the God of love, which He certainly is. But He is also the God of obedience. It's all in the Bible. God punishes for disobedience, especially in His house. Tiller was parading as a Christian, while murdering babies. Does that sound like an obedient Christian? God may not have thought so...
