Oct 23rd 2008 2:03PM The booze bit is real. I carried the shield for 6 years with the feds. The advantage we had was that we knew the people we were dealing with were armed. We did not know if they were drunk. A great waterfowl hunting day (wind, bitter cold, snow/sleet) calls for the bottle to keep you warm.
Take away a loaded shotgun to check to see if it is plugged, when the person handing it to you is more loaded than the gun, and the barrel is pointed at your chest. Makes you wonder whether enforcement is worth the risk.

Sep 30th 2008 12:54PM I can believe this happening. Some of the sales people at out local Michaels would easily act this way. This is a primary reason (staff attitude) that I don't shop there.
