Getting Your Man to Open Up to Style (oldstylelist)
Jul 26th 2007 7:46PM Personally, I would run from a man who wears argyle anything... boxers included. The only descent thing either of these two models are wearing are the navy shorts. Nothing against Brad Pitt... but that suit makes him look like a lounge lizard and those sunglasses are just so wrong. Red snickers only look good on women in size 5 in converse high tops... period... no exceptions.

Is Homosexuality Genetic? Ask the Ancient Greeks (News Bloggers)
Jun 30th 2007 1:12PM Genesis which is Greek for origin.... Is truly a remarkable book to study. Scientifically, if you consider that (chapter one verse 27) God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him: male and female created He them. You will find your first clue. Later we learn that Adam was alone in the Garden unlike the other species He had created in mammals in couples... So, God placed Adam in a deep sleep and took a rib from him and created Eve... to be Adams helpmate... Now, I will go off on aside here... because the word used for Eve in the sense of helpmate... is a word only used elsewhere in scripture to describe God with in the sense of the calvary coming over the hill... There is a fieriousness in Eve's purpose not generally understood. Getting back to the point... today we still have though rare... babies that are born with both male and female genitals... Ever ask yourself why that is? God does not make mistakes... His original design for man was to be like Himself... A mighty package in a species that could reproduce itself. Man lost the image of God when Eve was taken from him... and Eve lost the image of God when she was taken from Adam. It was very fitting in the movie Dogima that God was presented as a female with a masculine attitude. God is the ultimate creator... Ever wonder why... after Cain sley Abel he was afraid of being killed by the other people in the world? If Adam and Eve were the first two where did these other people come from recorded in Genesis as the Sons of God... where did Cain's wife come from?... Some would say he was afraid of the people who were to come afterwards.... thinking ahead of his game as it were.... but if you think about it... that doesn't make a lot of sense. We get another clue in Genesis chapter 5 verses 1-4... This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; Male and female created He them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years; and he begat sons and daughters... So, we know Adam first had God's image... he was in a combined form of both male and female... after a little surgery... We have Eve... and we have the first two forms of humankind in separate genders... Seth is recorded as being the first son of Adam which was born in Adam's own likeness and image... as in being what we truly know as male genderwise today... or as being the first genetically separate male human from female human. And we see a game plan change from our original purpose of being self reproducing individuals... To a new design of family... created by God in separate male and female roles. To feel an attraction for a same sex person... comes from your deepest DNA level of feeling a desire to be closer to the one who created you... because God is a spirit... and we all share the breathe of life His spirit breathed into us... We can all value and appreciate a beautiful work of art in the bodies of males and females... are we genetically programmed to have homosexual desires... no. Even if you are one of the rare individuals born today with both sex genders... one of those rare species of the true image of God... you would not be homosexual... you would be monosexual... in the sense that you would not genetically feel a need to have a partner other than yourself. You would still admire and value beauty... but it would not be in your genetic code to find another person like yourself even. If you are one of these rare works of human history and do have both male and female organs and feel a desire for a partner... then it is because in most of the cases... you are not 100% reproductively whole... and you do need a partner to reproduce... and are probably faced with massive confusion as to which partner to chose male or female... You would have to visit a doctor for tests to determine what your boby needs in a partner to create new life... you would not and could not simply chose by what you felt an attraction for... because attractions are abstract when it comes to this level.
As far as what the greeks practiced... well... we have a lot of historical records to confirm that there are a lot mistakes made in history of human actions... just because Cain sley Abel for example does not give us all the genetic right to become murders. So, to argue that because some selfishly sick men in greek times took advantage of their roles in the lives of young boys... does not make any point other than the fact... that they were monsters. Did their society approve of it... no. There's enough historical record in the Bible alone to prove that... much less all the other books of history to go by... Does God approve of homosexuality... no. Scripture is pretty clear on that one too... it was never in his design for the human race. He was so against it in fact that we know that He destroyed Sodom and Gamorrah for it... of course before that... there was the flood. (Side note Evan Almighty is great fun! Go see it! A great way to get a feel for God's wild and loving Spirit!)
So, what's going on if you are gay and are really feeling powerful feelings for members of the same sex much stronger than what you might feel for a work of art... Hormonal issues most likely. We know that the plastics used in today's two liter soda bottles and in the lining of tin cans... has a psuedo-estrogen in it... which is most likely altering your brain's desires... but there are many sources of social behavior as well that have very powerful influences... if you come from a family of plumbers... you have a good chance of becoming a plumber... if you watch certain television programs you will have social behavioral issues... Goodness who didn't love "just Jack" on Grace... but loving someone's personality is not the same thing as biologically being right with yourself... If you are male or female and have sex with someone of your own sex... You are seriously screwing around with yourself... It's almost a form of self destruction... and mentally you have to be asking yourself what are you afraid of? Why are you trying to keep yourself from reproducing? If you are gay and have adopted... same thing? Why are you adopting instead of reproducing? Don't get me wrong I am not against adoption... we all need to be adopting... there are so many parentless children in the world... but to exclude ones own reproduction... is being a biological failure... and you can't have a truly authentic self fullfilling life that way. I am by the way writing a book on these issues... It's called Finding Home
Hope this helped.
Farfour, We Hardly Knew Ya (News Bloggers)
Jun 30th 2007 11:19AM I don't know how international copyright laws stand there... but I certainly hope Disney has it's bags packed to take this guys to court. If they want to encourage their children to hate and fight... when as adults they've already seen so much sadness... maybe hurting their wallets will work... because obviously... bullets are not working. But in the end... the only real thing that is going to get these people's attention is... is unprecedented love. It is the only universal language that works... Maybe Disney can use it's pixie dust to revive Farfour and let him visit his cousin Mickey in the USA and learn that things are only bad in the world... if you make them that way.
