Toddler makes late-night run for chocolate... alone (ParentDish)

Aug 9th 2008 1:57AM my 2 1/2 yr old is constantly trying to do everything the older siblings do, so he tries to be outside every second they are. We have to keep the screen door locked (it has a weird lock on it, hard for adults even to work), and now he can't escape. One day, i was in ther shower, and i had given him a bath, wrapped him up in his towel, and told him to get daddy to dress him. he's usually very good about it, well daddy was nowhere to be found,. b/c he was in another bathroom, and we were potty training...well, he ended up outside butt naked, covered in poop, my neighbor had a friend visiting, and said she was just telling her how adorable & cute he was and there he was on the sidewalk baring it all, and when they got close, EEEWWWW. i was mortified, i don't think we socialized for a few days w/ the neighbors. she swiflty scooped him up, and took him inside.
i guess the moral of the story is, as a mom you are never allowed to shower again!...at least he only goes in our yard, he's never ventured any farther..thank GOD

Jul 10th 2007 5:10PM if the so called 'stupid' kid was soooo stupid, they wouldn't know their address. most 4 year olds can tell you where they live by state and city, but not by address. she's actually a pretty smart cookie to know that. i have kids that age, and when u are 5 in kindergarten, they teach address and phone numbers...... will needs to check himself!
