Sexy New 'iPod of Thermostats' Is Geeky on the Inside (AOL Real Estate)

Dec 28th 2011 12:37PM ok-but what if you dont want it to change the temp when you are out? Like if you have pets, or your schedule is different everyday? I'd rather something i program myself than come home to a house thats freezing or sweltering! Seems like this would be a problem for most people....esp on weekends (does it know what day fo teh week it is?) So strange. It is pretty though (alhtough i think i could design one that was cooler...and i'm no designer....I'm not a fan of apple though so that may be the problem....

7 Things That Drive Vets Crazy (Pawnation)

Dec 17th 2011 8:15PM regular vet offices are NOT veternary hospitals, you know that right? That cat shoudl have been taken to a vet hosp, or vet ER.....so it isnt the vets fault you didnt do that. although they should have told you to do that......

Dec 17th 2011 8:12PM Legally and morally you shouldnt not have an anmal you cannot afford to care for. Take it to a no-kill shelter.

7 Things That Drive Vets Crazy (Pawnation)

Dec 17th 2011 8:11PM Time to find a vet who takes their time with you, AND you need to stand up for yourself and advocate for your pet! If you dont butt in and try to say something, the vet wont know you have anything to say! Remember they serve you so if teh service isnt what you want, say something, and if there is no improvement-fire them (aka-find a new vet)!

7 Things That Drive Vets Crazy (Pawnation)

Dec 17th 2011 8:03PM i think you hit the nail on the head, i suspect that country folk actually discipline their kids and therefore dont have misbehaved kids! I swear that urban and suburban parents think they are too busy to pay attention to their kids or something......drives me crazy! cant wait to move out to the country!

7 Things That Drive Vets Crazy (Pawnation)

Dec 17th 2011 7:52PM Um i think YOU need to shop around for a better vet. you can calla nd ask for price lists and lists of recommended proceedures as well as their policies, which would cost you nothing! then go in to ones that sound good for a well check and see if you7 get along with the vet (personality wise). I agree that some arent great, but its your responsibility to look for one that is! they DO exist!

dont blame the vet for having bad behavior if you keep going to them! also-did you explain that the seond check up seemed excessive and was more than you could afford? Did you ask to speak with the vet themselves rather than the receptionist (since it was a medical determination that a receptionist has no place making). Sometimes vets do need to be certain that there is no underlying illness before giving a shot for teh animals health, btw. Just saying....
