Mila Kunis | Fashion With Benefits (Stylelist)

Jul 22nd 2011 5:11PM As a guy, I'll tell you what makes her so sexy and why her taste is so good. She, for the most part, doesn't "show off her goods." She leaves much to the imagination. To a guy, that shows womanly confidence. But that confidence isn't so overwhelming that immasculates the male onlooker. I don't think I've ever even heard of this woman before. But she surely is the image of feminity while not resorting to "I'm for sale."

Adults Blame Parents for Education Problems (ParentDish)

Dec 15th 2010 6:04AM I think that both parenting and the educational system have broken down because everyone is either going to be sued or criticized for the wrong thing. Parents and teachers have to walk on egg shells. Teachers can't use their own talents in teaching any longer. Those who are educated to make the policies change what things made them what they are today. It just doesn't make sense. These same policy makers went to schools that had the summer off. They were made to study by their parents. Parents can't discipline kids anymore. Many don't even bother.

Police Bust Teens' Bake Sale in New York (AOL Small Business)

Nov 20th 2010 6:29PM Wow! You'd think they were dealing in drugs or something. We're taking away all the good things that kids do and let illegal aliens drug trafficers and terrorists in. We've got kids practising oral sex in the 7th grade and handing out contraceptives. Kids aren't allowed to extend their childhood through a bake sale? At least they were trying to do soemthing for themselves rather than living on hand outs.

Deciphering Stephen Hawking (AOL Hot Searches)

Sep 3rd 2010 2:36PM Unfortunately, when one puts limits on thought as final, one does just that...limits. While this man might have a good grasp on physics, it would be good for him to study a little metaphysics too. He should start with Aristotle and the "unmoved mover" and the infinite regression of being. Reaching beyond limits and potentiality is how we learn. Putting a cap by one method discounts, at best, all other forms of learning and knowledge. That's when understanding stops. Hmmm... too bad for him.

Al-Jazeera Anchorwomen Quit After 'Offensive' Comments About Their Non-Conservative Clothing, Makeup, Uncovered Hair (Stylelist)

Jun 2nd 2010 12:30PM History shows much violence through history in the name of religion. But the fact is that people ahve used religion as a means of political control... a control that has to do with anything BUT religion. I am a Catholic priest. I know that people ahve killed other "in the name of Christ." This goes for Catholics during the Spanish Inquisition, protestants during the "witch trials," and so on... none of which represents a faith of conversion and love. Nowhere in these religions does it teach to kill anyone. I have known Muslims who believe the same way. We have just been through a terrible scandal within the Catholic Church of pediphile priests. Nowhere in the Catholic faith is there and approval of such behavior, yet many in the world blame the "religion." When I was in the seminary, we had a Muslim chef. He was a very peaceful Muslim who was taught by his own scriptures to respect all people "of the book" (meaning those who beleive in the old and new testaments). We respected his beleifs as he repsected ours. Niether of us could "prove" our religions because faith is fundamental to religion.

When violence is a fruit of any religion, religion ceases. When freedom is impeaded upon by a religion, faith ceases. Any act of violence or oppression cannot be accepted as an act of faith. If faith is real, it cannot contradict a God who creates. It cannot pursue destruction. There are true Muslims in the world. I do not agree with the tenents of their faith. However, I respect the right for them to believe as they do when it does no harm to others. I would say the same within my own faith. It is a contradiction to God to be the cause of any kind of destruction of freedom to choose what one accepts to believe.

Having said that, we all, no matter what our religion, have the right and responsibility to protect the freedom to believe. When religion contradicts this fundamental right, it is no longer a religion. It is a political philosophy. Freedom always trumps oppression.

Should Conan O'Brien Leave Sinking Ship NBC? (Inside TV Blog)

Nov 29th 2009 3:28AM When comedy has to resort to dirty jokes and the like, it means that it is desperate. The networks are all grasping at straws. Many of us in the public would like to see good T.V. again. Conan doesn't cut it. His comedy caters to the adolescent minded with adolescent jokes. He was a mistake.

Munchkins From 'Wizard of Oz' Reunion Video (Moviefone Blog)

Oct 8th 2009 10:00AM Wonderful article and video. It's nice to see the news reporting soemthing to lift people up for a change!

Does Disney's 'Princess and the Frog' Deserve the Controversy? (Moviefone Blog)

Sep 26th 2009 3:42AM Sorry to interrupt, but when did Barack Obama become a black man. I remember the old musical Showboat, which dealt with the fact that a character had a drop of African blood, she had to be black. The same attitude is written in this article. Mr. Obama is just as much white as he is black. How much of a shade does it need for someone to be black? Was Michael Jackson, therefor, white now? when I was a kid, I looked at characters in a cartoon. I didn't look at the color. I makes me really wonder about what kid on people are writing here and participating in the subliminal racism more than what they see as problems in the movie. So, if people are going to look at what they "think" are subliminal messages in movies, they need to look to what they themselves project. There's an old saying, "The evil you see in others is in yourself." Maybe that's why it seems to be recognized in a movie that's just for entertainment.

Preacher's Wife Warns of Adultery in the Pulpit (BV Black Spin)

Aug 30th 2009 3:13AM I just look at it this way... whetehr it's something the the Catholic Church (of which I belong) or any other Christian Church, I see the Holy spirit's hand in this doing some heavy duty house cleaning. It's no wonder non believers can't be convinced of our faith. Yes, we should practice forgiveness. But with serial adulterers, pediphiles, embezzlers, and whatever, the Lord's house needs to be cleared. let them come and worship. But they should not be in places of responsibility.

Edward Kennedy: His Funeral and Busy Afterlife (Politics Daily)

Aug 29th 2009 6:01PM Yes, I choke up to with stories of Teddy... like the one about mary Jo... and the millons of unborn children that have died because they were scraped, cut up, salted, or vaccuumed alive in the womb because of legistlation he supported. I get choked up every time I think of all the people who have become dependent upon his social programs and he lived off of the money of his dad's illegal ligquor empire. I get choked up when I think of the many who would ahve loved to go to Harvard without cheating. You yes, there's so much to get choked up about.
