Joshua Fruhlinger got his start in technology journalism in 1995 when he was named – straight out of graduate school - Editor-In-Chief of online magazine startup TapOnline.
Since then, he has written about technology for Engadget, Joystiq, Electronic Gaming Monthy, Sync, PC Magazine, and Wired News. He was one of the original Senior Editors for Engadget, the number-one technology blog, back when Engadget was run out of the collective bedrooms of Peter Rojas and Ryan Block. He also made a name for himself in the fields of User Experience Strategy and Content Strategy as a consultant for interactive firms like Razorfish and Mercury Seven.
He was educated at University of California, San Diego and the University of Chicago. He grew up in Southern California, only minutes from Disneyland, but now calls Fort Greene, Brooklyn his home.
