Is Apple Ditching the Physical Home Button on the iPod Touch?

As any owner of an aging iOS device can tell you, the iconic Home button does not stand up well to long-term abuse. A leaked photo, purportedly of a fifth generation iPod Touch, suggests that Apple may finally be joining the rest of the gadget industry and switching to capacitive touch buttons. The blurry cam shot, if it's to be believed, also indicates that the iPod prototype packs 128GB of storage, double that of the current model.
