Google Labs is attempting to resurrect chat bots with Google Talk Guru. The Guru is an automated IM service that can define words, perform basic calculations, translate text, pull in sports scores, perform Google searches, and tell you whether you should be glad or upset that you're stuck in front of a computer. Just send an invite to the Guru to chat with you, and ask away.
In The Netherlands for the next few days. First time in Europe with my Note II. It is quite nice to have a Verizon phone that works abroad.

And you know what is really frustrating ... the functionality is about as bad as it was back in 2001 as well (doh). Thank goodness some of the installed systems in this market have moved forwards in the last decade :-)
