The iPhone Still Can't Handle Daylight Savings Time
Over the weekend, as the rest of the country leaped forward to daylight savings time, many iPhone users were once again stuck in the past.Though some devices adjusted to the time difference with seamless elegance, plenty of other users reported glitches with their iPhone clocks. Some simply failed to advance, while others actually fell backward by an hour, putting their owners a full two hours behind the rest of the U.S.
These horological snafus, of course, are nothing new. Users posted similar complaints in November, when some iPhone clocks declined to fall back, and on New Year's Day, when alarms went mysteriously silent.
Apple has yet to comment on this latest glitch, but some resourceful users have already posted some simple solutions to the problem. If your iPhone is still behind the times, try shutting it down and restarting it, or switching it to 'Airplane Mode,' and back again.

I tried the tricks above and nothing worked. When I set the phone to manual time updates, the iOS knew what time it should be. It is my carrier that seems to be the issue, not the iPhone

Mine (Verizon, if it makes any difference) actually went back an hour at 2 AM (so it was 2 hours off), then I went to sleep. When I woke up, it was 1 hour off. I then turned automatic time setting off then on, and it was correct again.

The time change has nothing to do with Apple or the iPhone. It is all about the network so AT&T or verizon are to blame if there is a problem with changing the time. Unless your phone is set in manual mode and then you would obviously have to then manually change the time when daylight savings time rolled around.
