why does Japan keep doing this? Why do they keep threatening musicians with robots like this? First it was a robot conductor, now it’s a robot musician. This bullshit needs to stop now. Nothing will ever come close to human nature when it comes to making music. I’m sorry

@Sean You are absolutely correct. It is silliness! But considering the actual feat, I would have been more impressed had the robot walked on stage brought the trumpet up to his/her "mouth" and then played, then lowered the trumpet from his/her "mouth" taken a bow and walked off stage. Didn't see the violin robot perform....amazing what you can do with an air compressor and some digital instructions....
