Hypnagogic Gaming in 'The Dream Machine'

Victor Neff has just moved into a new apartment with his pregnant wife Alicia. What should be a happy time for the both of them is instead marred by strange dreams involving their building's creepy super. You take on the role of Victor in the first, free chapter of 'The Dream Machine.' While much of this adventure game takes place in reality, its distinctive, hand-crafted visual style nevertheless gives the entire world an air of dream-like oddity. While solving simple puzzles and exploring the confines of your apartment building aren't inherently exciting, the game's presentation is uniquely strange enough to draw you into its warped world.
