Nike Unveils New 3-D Shoes for Kobe Bryant's All-Star Appearance

At this year's NBA All-Star Game, the ageless Kobe Bryant will be gliding around the court in a pair of specially designed 3-D shoes from Nike. The new Zoom Kobe VI kicks feature a 3-D appliqué, and an 'LA' logo on its inner sock liner -- both of which, apparently, can be viewed in relief with the proper 3-D eyewear. If you're interested in grabbing a pair of your own, you can buy them for $249.99. Alternatively, you could just as easily put that money toward something pretty.

are they crazy?????? i don't know anyone who has a spare $250.00 to spend on a super ugly pair of shoes 3D or whatever Kobe should be ashamed of himself trying to make more money on kids that think he is so great he sure does not need the money

Ok first of all, I'm a die hard Just Do It fanatic of the brand NIKE shoe. I own almost every Nike ever to come out and I would never put this pair of KOBE shoes unless Kobe Bryant himself bought them for me @ $250.00 a pair!!! Ok HELLO! This country is in a RECESSION! Does Kobe need more money for his selfishness??? Get real kobe wake up smell the coffee and donate some of those shoes to those who can't afford a pair like me!
If Kobe doesn't really want to seem so selfish, then he should send me a pair of shoes to my house. Email me kobe and I'll send you my address only if you'll be sending me a pair. You must be crazy boy! $250 seriously?

The two people who commented before me need to do a little bit of thinking before they speak. This has nothing to do with Kobe trying to exploit money from our kids. Last time I checked he was an NBA player, not a marketing exec. With all of the special/ limited edition Air Jordans/ LeBrons that people constantly waste their money on, no one seems to mention them as being selfish. The players don't come up with these ideas, NIKE does. They're probably gonna broadcast the game in 3D when he wears these so those capable of seeing it in 3D will see the shoes. Also, these shoes aren't gonna be available to the public as a general release, seeing that they have already been swiped up by collectors. Then you go and call the man selfish....sheesh for christ sakes if you knew anything, the man has several charities and organizations in his name. He's done a lot to give back to others, most notably over in Asia. Please people think before you run your mouths!
