Inventor Constructs Phenomenal DIY Propulsion Pack
A Russian inventor may have found an easy and awesome solution for stranded sufferers of the winter, snowbound blues. According to ITN News, Sergei Khvalin has assembled an incredible propeller-powered backpack, incorporating various lawnmower and paraglider components. Coupled with skis, Khvalin can bomb across frozen terrain at speeds of up to 25 mph. Amateur inventors frequently produce astounding DIY creations, but this particular masterpiece may be difficult to top (unless someone upgrades it with flying capabilities, of course).

Typically Russian "invention": break something useful, cannibalize the parts and put together a contraption that nobody needs.

The "invention" is kinda cool, just it's nothing new. I've seen such things in Lithuania ages ago (well 4-5years to be exact).
@vendelaee - snowmobile is more like a mean of transportation, and the "aero-ski-thing" is FUN ;)
