Oscar nominations were officially doled out
this morning, and, as expected
, 'The Social Network' picked up plenty of them -- eight, to be exact, including one in the vaunted Best Picture category. Jesse Eisenberg's portrayal of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg earned him a nomination for Best Actor, David Fincher is in the running for Best Director, and Aaron Sorkin earned a nod for his original screenplay. The film still didn't garner as many nominations as 'The King's Speech' (12) or 'True Grit' (10), but that makes total sense, since Mark Zuckerberg doesn't have a debilitating speech impediment, and wasn't born 150 years ago.
