The Daily Show Gets a Little (Over) Excited for Verizon iPhone

Many people have been thrilled by the announcement that the iPhone 4 is coming to Verizon, but perhaps no one is more excited than Jon Stewart, who took more than seven minutes on last night's episode of 'The Daily Show' to celebrate the revolutionary ability to make phone calls that don't suddenly drop. Referring to the iPhone on AT&T as "the world's most popular almost phone" Stewart and crew spent a third of their broadcast gleefully tearing into AT&T and its lackluster service. The show's resident Brit, John Oliver, even took to the streets of New York to see how the average Joe and Jane felt. (The responses largely consisted of bleeped out profanity and middle fingers.) It's probably safe to assume that, even if no one else does, Jon Stewart will be running out to get a Verizon iPhone on February 10th. Check out the video after the break.
