John Boehner to Stream First Day of New Congress on Facebook
Tomorrow, a new Congress will surf to power in Washington on a wave of Tea Party-infused populism. With that spirit in mind, incoming House Speaker John Boehner will livestream the entire event on Facebook.Beginning at noon on Wednesday, users will be able to watch all the proceedings of the new Congress on the 'Pledge to America' Facebook page. People who tune in will also be able to comment on the transition as it unfolds, and offer real-time feedback as Boehner sniffles his way through his first speech as Speaker of the House.
Boehner's director of digital media, Nick Schaper, told CNN, "This kind of streaming and real-time interaction is not only unprecedented for the House, it's helping to set the tone for a new majority that will continue to find new ways to listen to and better represent the American people."

Mr. Boehner I have just one question for you, During the reading of the Declaration, why were certain parts of it not read? It was my impression that you are for the people? if thats the case, the full Declaration should have been read as it was written by our fore fathers.

That is demeaning what was meant to be a most "serious" institution in America. Facebook - please don't drag congress into that mess Mr. Bohner
