Oversleep With Impunity, Because iPhone Alarms Still Aren't Going Off
Many people inching their way back to post-holiday normality may have a built-in excuse for being late to work today -- because their iPhone alarms still aren't working. Users first noticed the glitch this weekend, and began voicing their frustrations across Twitter and Facebook. A company spokeswoman admitted that Apple was "aware of an issue related to nonrepeating alarms set for January 1 or 2," but promised that they'd be working normally by today. According to Reuters, however, many iPhone users are still experiencing problems, and running late for everything. If you absolutely have to rely on your iPhone as an alarm, just open alarms, tap 'edit,' select your alarm and change it to repeat on multiple days. Apple hasn't yet offered a concrete explanation for the glitch, nor, apparently, has it completely resolved the issue. Until it does, though, we recommend milking the excuse for as long as possible.
