Winona Ryder Says She Doesn't Use the Internet
Apparently we could say all sorts of terrible things about Winona Ryder here and she'd never know because apparently she's too cool for school. And by "school" we mean the Internet. The star of the buzz-generating Darren Aronofsky film 'Black Swan' apparently doesn't use the Web. In an interview she gave to Elle magazine, the actress said she gets her e-mail sent to her BlackBerry, but otherwise avoids anything Web-related. Oscar winning director Ryder's issues seem to largely be with the Web-based paparazzi and the 24/7 news cycle, which she says takes "away that great anticipation of seeing a movie."

Yeah, because she can't steal clothes online! Ha. Ha!

Actually, it's comments like yours that she's better off not having to read.

@Neva Which brings up the point I was going to make. She probably doesn't want to go online to read about herself. No wonder. She threw away a pretty good career. Obviously there are some serious mental health issues that had been kept hidden. What she did is simply beyond explanation. Wasn't a simple error in judgment that can be easily explained away or forgotten. Her reaction is normal - go away and hide. She can reappear every two years sniff the air for redemption then go back into seclusion

@wlh1923 . Haven't you ever done anything that you regretted doing when you were young? And if you did would you like being reminded of it all the time. Get a grip. After all, she didn't kill anyone . You really do hold a grudge don't you???/

@New York: She was nearly 30 when she had her little melt down. Hardly the age when "youthful indiscretion" can be used as an excuse. Let's just call it what it was: A prescription drug induced freak out.

Alot of actresses/ actors don't use the internet. I'm guilty of reading TMZ and other celeb news but if someone said something hurtful then I might get upset! (I'm not a celeb so I'm not worried!)
As far as her meltdown, remember she had a pain killer, in her purse. Who knows? She could have had a problem that no one knew about.
She is a terrific actress and have read nothing that indicates she has violated any laws since then, so I save enjoy her talent and so let her be!
