Mind Blowing 'Portal' Gun Replica Being Auctioned for Charity

A couple of years ago, graphic designer, prop-maker and all around nerd Harrison Krix became a minor viral celebrity when he posted photos of a replica 'Portal' gun online. Now he's making the rounds again with a second, updated incarnation of the iconic game prop, which is now headed for a charity auction. The gun (which can be seen in action after the break) glows both orange and blue, makes the appropriate sound effect when each color is lit up, and even comes with a stand custom-designed (and signed) by the Valve team behind 'Portal.'

The gun will be auctioned off at a Child's Play charity event in Seattle on December 7th.
