hey guys, i downloaded the 4.2 for my ipad but the problem is since i upgraded my ipad i cant lock the screen !!! the switch i use to flip next to the volume button is not locking the screen!!! the new function for this switch it to mute/unmute

i tried changing it from the setting but with no luck,

if any one can help me out here i would be gratefully

and am i the only one with this problem?

@Hamoud Unfortunately, it's an Apple feature, not a problem... This happens to everyone who upgrades to iOS 4.2. Haven't seen any fixes or hacks to get the old functionality back, but hopefully someone comes up with something.

@Hamoud I share your frustration, but fortunately if you have jailbreaked your iPad, try looking for "No Mute" apps on Big Boss's Repo in Cydia. It bring back the hardware orientation lock and retain the software lock, so you have both to use. Additionally, you can still mute by holding down volume down button until the bar reach zero.
