Real RoboCop Reaches Out to Adorable Robo-Kid
Last month, an incredibly awesome dad constructed a RoboCop costume for his young son, Gram, out of "crap [he] had in his basement." The inexpensive finished costume actually looked impressively realistic, and the ridiculously cute Robo-kid became a viral hit. The photos were such a hit, in fact, that they reportedly attracted the bionic eye of the real RoboCop (or the actor who played him, anyway), Peter Weller. Weller commendably sent Gram an autographed photo of the cyborg crime-fighter that read, "You are certainly the best RoboCop of all time!" Gram's dad confessed that his son innocently, and enviably, "believes the real RoboCop sent this to him."
So, if somebody wants a personally addressed, autographed RoboCop photograph, they just need to dress up in an awesome, homemade costume? We may not be devastatingly cute like Gram, but, hey, it's worth a shot.
