We've talked at great lengths about the changing nature of
etiquette in the digital age, and one of the more nuanced guidelines has to do with answering your phone while in somebody's company. When you're hanging out with friends at a bar, and a straggler calls to get directions, it's certainly not impolite to answer the phone right then and there. When you're having a serious, one-on-one conversation, though, we'd say that it most certainly is. If you care to meet the latter situation with extra-gracious flair, you might want to pick up
the Phonekerchief, an old-timey handkerchief that somehow blocks cell phone signals.
Going on sale November 25th, just in time for the holidays, the kerchief will be well worth the $15 you'll spend to see the smile on the face of your smartphone-addicted, Victorian era-obsessed "eccentric" cousin. Happy Christmas, Chadwick!

Are you kidding me!! NO way would I send 15.00 to block calls. Now IF AT&T would do something out here by us to get all our bars for 15.00, gee maybe free would be ever nicer. Oh but I forgot it the trees. Yea right, the same tree that have been around since I've lived here. How dumb!

This is a waste of $15 dollars, but if it blocked the others phone that would be great. My significant other and kids are constantly on their phones. during dinner, movies they just dont get off. I actually now go places by myself because its the same. Friday my sig other phone stopped working and it was great, I had my girl back and it was like old times. For some reason I suggested she called her phone company and have them check out whatever the problem is and it was fixed, and she went right back to digi land. I shot myself right in the foot. But at least I had a good two days.
