Palin E-Mail Hacker Sentenced to One Year
University of Tennessee student David Kernell has been sentenced for computer intrusion and obstruction of justice in relation to the hacking of Sarah Palin's personal e-mail in 2008. Kernell will be spending the next year in custody (most likely in a halfway house), and face three years probation. He was found not guilty of the most serious charges, which carried up to a 20-year sentence.
