Laptop Case on Legs Marketed to People With Chairs, Without Laps
We'd like to say we can think of a million uses for this rather strange laptop bag... but we can't. Ostensibly a carrying case for your portable PC, the Thanko Laptop Table Bag hides four telescoping aluminum legs in its undercarriage. At 5,980 yen (roughly $74), it's not too much more expensive than your average case -- but, at a bulky six pounds, it probably weighs more than your laptop itself. In addition to the legs, the bag features a fold-out mousepad as well as a pair of fans that serve to keep the computer's underside cool. If you often use your laptop out in the field, we could see this being a handy accessory. Maybe you're a seismologist, say, or a photographer who likes to process digital snapshots on site; the Table Bag just might be your perfect assistant. For everyone else, it kinda looks like granny's walker.
