Giant iPhone 4 Halloween Costume Puts Every Other iPhone Costume to Shame

Last year, John Savio became the envy of trick-or-treating Apple fanboys everywhere, with his human-size, fully functional iPhone Halloween costume. At the time, we were convinced that he'd reached the zenith of Halloween geekdom. We were wrong. This year, Savio's upped the costume ante once again, with his latest human-size, jailbroken iPhone 4. With a touchscreen.

To create his masterpiece, Savio hooked up his own jailbroken iPhone 4 to a 40-inch LED LCD panel, which he strapped to a sandwich board. The getup also features a rear-camera LED light and a mini 12-volt battery that can keep it humming for more than 2 hours at a time. Weighing in at 75 pounds, it certainly doesn't look like the most comfortable costume in the world, but the touch-sensitive screen probably validates the 3-plus days Savio spent putting it together. Check it out in action after the break -- and, while you're at it, you might as well toss that Mark Zuckerberg Halloween mask in the trash.
