Google Place Search Reveals Real-World Locations

Google adds Places tab to search results page.
According to the Official Google Blog, the company has added the option of searching by place to its results page. By clicking the Places tab that appears on the left side of Google's main page, the search results will be filtered by location, and marked on a map with red pins. Nothing new, right? But, now, each search result includes links containing more information about the place, whereas, in the past, these links might have been spread across multiple pages. Essentially, it gathers as much information about a place as possible, and puts it all on the same page. If Google suspects you're searching for local information, the search engine will automatically filter the results by place, too.
