Alex Sink Cheats Florida Gubernatorial Debate With Droid Phone

Prior to Monday's CNN-sponsored debate, both candidates had agreed not to use notes in their volleys back and forth. During a commercial break from the action, however, Sink's makeup artist showed her a brief message that a campaign adviser had sent to her Droid phone. "The attorney who [w]on the Sykes suit said alex sink did nothing wrong," the message read. "Tell not to let him keep talking about her." When Scott spotted the exchange between the makeup artist and his opponent, he immediately notified a CNN official, who confiscated the phone.
Following the debate, Sink's campaign released a statement conceding that the adviser had violated the rules, and asserting that he had been disciplined accordingly . "After the debate tonight, one of my campaign advisers admitted he tried to communicate with me during one of the breaks," Sink said. "While he told me it was out of anger with Rick Scott's repeated distortion of facts, it was a foolish thing to do. It violated a debate agreement, and I immediately removed him from the campaign."
Scott, meanwhile, wasted no time in alerting the public to his opponent's violation. "First, Alex, you say you always follow the rules," Scott said immediately after the commercial break. "The rule was no one was supposed to give us messages during the break, and your campaign did with an iPad or an iPod."

I'll sadly admit I was watching CNN and saw when the clip the topmost image was taken from. I did lol when I saw makeup being applied to the bald guy's head. Way to not show the news clip and just switch to a random camera, CNN.

@High Climber.... Sad as it was Alex Sink was looking at something her aid was providing, if it was a cell phone as indicated, with a text message then she violated the ethic rules of the debate. I swear it looks like we don't have a"REAL" choice of a candidate for our Governor. It is a sad time for the Floridians who will vote for a Political Party rather than the Interigity of the person. Our Governor in Florida must be above reproach, without hang ups or Moral Obligations to any Religious or Private Institutions, and be a dedicated to serve the Citizens of Florida, without obligations to Special Interest Groups or parties.. It appears on the surface that neither of these candidates are qualifified to be Governor of this Great State... It's too bad, but The Trust, Honesty, and Integrity just doesn't seem a strong part of their makeup, as a matter of fact these two people should not be in considered for any Politcal Postion. That is my honest opinion!

@High Climber
The icon of the "donkey" as the symbol of the democrat party was created when some called President Jackson for cheating in his presidency. They actually called him a "Jackass", to which he retorted, "Jackass I may be, but i will do as I please!" This is where the symbol of the "jackass" for the democratic party came from.
Cheating on the democratic side may actually be apart of the very beginnings of that party.

@(Unverified) Welcome to the knew world of uber-partisanship. This election really leaves us with few good choices. I think Crist is our best bet for Florida. Any politician who renounces their political party to run as an independent has my vote.
