Teen's WarCraft III Trash Talk Leads to Real-World Beatdown

The attack reportedly went down early last week, during lunch period at Hamber's high school. According to police in Vancouver, the garrulous gamer was confronted by the same group of kids he'd previously beaten and humiliated in WarCraft. Hamber's online gloating apparently didn't sit too well with the gang of assailants, who forced the teen to kiss their feet before breaking his fingers with batons. Vancouver police have yet to formally arrest the group of teenage bullies, but officials seem confident that WarCraft was indeed to blame for the incident.
In this case, Hamber clearly barked up the wrong tree, but Const. Lindsey Houghton insists that not every Canadian WarCraft gamer is as belligerent as these thugs apparently were. "It's very unusual," Houghton tells the Vancouver Sun. "I guess some people take these things exceptionally seriously." Yes, yes they do.
