The Audacity of Autographs: Obama Signs Supporter's iPad

A guy named Sylvester Cann recently attended a rally in Seattle, where the POTUS was shaking hands and signing autographs. Somehow, Cann managed to work his way to within arm's length of President Obama, and soon found himself standing face to face with the most powerful person in the world. Instead of quaking in awe or mutely shaking the President's hand, though, Cann calmly whipped out his iPad.

Cann had prepared for the occasion by using the Adobe Ideas app to scrawl a concise message: "Mr. President, sign my iPad." Cann would've been well advised to insert a "please" somewhere in his request, but Obama benevolently overlooked the man's brusqueness, and duly complied. According to Engadget, Obama's Secret Service team was initially skeptical about having the President fingerpaint his signature on an iPad, but they eventually relented, and allowed him to pull off what must be the geekiest feat in Presidential history. You can see the President meet the 'Pad in a video after the break.
