Apple (Possibly) Reveals New MacBook Air and iLife in Forums

Leaked MacBook Air update
Apple is usually pretty good at keeping new products under wraps. [Ed. Note: Except for that whole iPhone 4 thing.] This morning, though, it looks like someone at the company is due for a talking-to, having jumped the gun on Apple's press event scheduled for later today. Overzealous forum moderators at Apple.com started threads for 'iMovie '11,' 'iPhoto '11,' and 'Garage Band '11,' revealing a few hours early that the company's Android-bashing CEO, Steve Jobs, will be talking up the latest version of its 'iLife' suite. Another discussion, titled "MBA (Need official name)," seems to indicate that a MacBook Air redesign is also in the cards. Apple has since changed the titles of the threads, but not before fast-acting snoops snapped some screen shots.

What else can we expect out of the event today? (We're banking on a glimpse at the new OS 10.7.) Check back in here later to find out all the details about the announcement, and to see if Jobs publicly executes the moderators for breaking Apple's closely guarded ring of secrecy.
