Xbox.com Redesign Launches Tomorrow, With Avatar Editor and Web Games

The Xbox 360 dashboard is due for a major overhaul any day now, but Xbox.com will be getting the first facelift, going live tomorrow. The new Xbox.com will feature a major redesign, with streamlined search and messaging tools, as well as a new family reporting feature for keeping tabs on your kids' (or parents') gaming habits. But, more importantly, you'll find a web-based avatar editor and web games you can play either on a PC browser or Windows Phone 7 device. (It's no coincidence that the redesign is coming so quickly on the heels of the official WP7 launch, since since Microsoft sees the phone OS as a bridge for the mobile/at-home gaming gap on a unified platform.)
