'FanGo' App Lets You Avoid Waiting in Long Concession-Stand Lines

The worst part about attending a sporting event or concert is waiting in long lines for food and drink. Thanks to 'FanGo' -- a new iPhone app that allows fans to order food delivered to their seats -- fans won't have to miss a minute of the action. The app displays menu options and pricing for concession-stand items located throughout a venue. Just make your selection, enter your seat number and wait for that overpriced foot-long hot dog and tall beer to appear. Currently, the service is limited to only three venues in Kentucky -- Rupp Arena, Louisville Slugger Field and KFC Yum Arena -- but 'FanGo' co-founder Collin Wallace expects the company's client list to balloon in the future. Wallace told TechCrunch that concession sales have increased by about 50-percent since FanGo was incorporated at those venues. FanGo seems to be a convenient service, just so long as the cell phone network isn't so jammed that ordering food becomes impossible.
