Dream Jammies: Vibrating PJs for Cloying Couples

Are you concerned that your lover isn't getting a good night's rest while he's off on that "business trip" to Atlantic City? Or maybe you're wondering whether or not your clingy girlfriend has been in bed all day with a gallon or two of Blue Bell in hand, while you've been off visiting your 'rents? Enter Alexander Reeder's Dream Jammies, which connect faraway lovebirds with stalkerish sleep surveillance and a bit of a buzz.

We just wrote about a vibrating pillow (to wake you up, gutterbrain), and now come these wacky Dream Jammies, which rouse you with a shimmy and a shake, and are controlled by an app on your partner's iPhone. With the help of motion sensors embedded in the pajamas, he or she can see on the iPhone if you're standing up, laying down or tossing back and forth (for... whatever reason). Or they could give you the faraway wake-up call, because nothing says "I love you" like being torn from the arms of sleep by a vibration in your chest. It's not a heart attack -- only Cupid's arrow! But if you and your partner are the kind of people who are down for wearing electronic jammies connected to your cell phones, you should really be married, like, yesterday.
