Watching Twitter tonight has taught me one thing, Phillies fans are a bunch of whiny dicks. But it's ok, every tank needs a bottom feeder.
And I thought I wanted to hug Johan last week. I think I'm officially in love.
Listening to Ra, glance at the notes and there's @AliveRecords. Nice cover, Mr. Boissel! @TheGloryFires #magiccityjams http://t.co/uT0M77VJ

This won't be a problem for long. I give the show 4-6 episodes before it's canceled.

@ElevatorHappyFun
I Couldn't agree more! The show is lame and I think 6 more shows may be abit optomistc.

@ElevatorHappyFun
yet How I met your mother and the office remain on the air. Dumbest shows I have ever seen and they are not even a little funny. Theres just know such thing as good tv anymore, think I will take up reading.
JAKE BLAINSep 24th 2010 12:53PM
@ElevatorHappyFun ...You say that because you're an IDIOT who doesn't know whats funny...Shatner is hilarious...so...just shut up and watch Glee.

Yeah, foresight is everything. If only they had changed the word to "Stuff" - easy peasy.

If Mr. O'brien, or anyone that has encountered a problem trying to record this crappy show on their DVR, had half a brain, they would have figured out that if you simply input the channel and time, you would be able to record the show. Idiots.
SkullivanSep 27th 2010 11:58AM
@Izzy Michaels
Yeah genius, and what if they don't know the channel and time? I have no clue on what night or what timeslot most of the shows I watch actually air and anyone who has used a DVR for any amount of time likely doesn't either. That's the whole point of a DVR.
In fact, anyone who would be using the search function to begin with would probably be doing so expressly because they didn't know the channel or time it aired.
I can imagine your stance on web search engines. "Google!? Who needs 'em!? Anyone with half a brain should just know the URL of the website they want!"

I'm unconcerned with recording this show, but I do have a problem with Entourage, running on the Spike Channel. The show airs in pairs of episodes, but the recording of the first one always begins some several minutes after the beginning of the show. Then that recording continues over to include the beginning of the second episode. Then the recording of the second episode repeats in the same manner. Why isn't Spike airing the show to begin at regular intervals on the half-hour, and why isn't my stupid DVR sensible enough to detect the time shift? Aggravating.
BridgettSep 24th 2010 12:43PM
i would check how you have the show setup to record. On my DVR, i have the choice to record to many minutes before and after the show. Maybe you have the show set to record 3 (or ever how many) minutes prior or after and it may be messing with the recording.
megosbeeSep 24th 2010 1:12PM
@(Unverified) That's a problem with Spike programming/timing. They frequently start shows on the :15 and :45 minute time slots, and the guides don't show it. I used to have the same problem with MANserws, but then I just gave up on that one.
alexSep 24th 2010 1:27PM
@(Unverified) Thanks, and a good point. I did check the time settings, and made an adjustment to it, but I'll double-check to make sure.
AdamSep 24th 2010 12:19PM
why not call it Shat my dad says? (if i really have to explain this youre an idiot)
windowsbbsSep 24th 2010 12:19PM
That's OK. The show was awful. Bad writing and Shatner was reading cue cards. Obnoxious only goes so far.
slsiegeSep 24th 2010 12:25PM
Never mind that $#*! - just try DVRing anything on Sunday on CBS. The football game invariably runs over, throwing the whole schedule behind - but the DVR dutifully records at the originally scheduled time. So I have to program the next show as well. I believe that there's similar aggravation on Fox.
candiceSep 24th 2010 3:44PM
You should try Modern Family, Cougar Town or Raising Hope. GREAT comedies.
daveSep 30th 2010 2:06PM
@(Unverified) How I met your mother and the office are both great. you have no clue what is good and not good. Have not seen this show yet to say if it's any good but i love the quote that this show was based on.
p5riceSep 24th 2010 1:06PM
I thought it was funny, funnier than two and a half men. Definitely going to dvr it next week.
sueSep 24th 2010 1:57PM
I 'm not going to watch the show whether it gets good reviews or not. Any show that so "casually" uses foul language in its title is not the show for me. Yeah, I know...no bad language is actually used, but we're all supposed to mentally replace the symbols with the word we all know is intended. Foul language has become such a "casual" thing in this nation, which sadly shows how this nation has taken the low, low road. I admit, I can use some pretty choice words when I hit my thumb with a hammer or when something has made me very angry. There's a difference!
LarrySep 26th 2010 8:09PM
Foul language is as American as apple pie, for Christ's sake. America was founded by England's castoffs, not members of its upper crust. Georgia was a penal colony.

I still use a VCR. Yes, it's old. But when you have an old analog TV, it works just fine.
