Jimmy Fallon Enlists Twitter to Write Emmy Jokes

Jimmy Fallon Tweets the Emmys
When the 62nd annual Primetime Emmy Awards kick off this Sunday, viewers will immediately notice a difference from last year's show (and it's not that Jimmy Fallon is significantly more squirrelly looking than Neil Patrick Harris). This year, Twitter will be playing an integral role in the program, since intros for several presenters, including Jon Hamm (of 'Mad Men') and Tina Fey, are being sourced from Twitter submissions. There will also be plenty of backstage content for multi-taskers who are browsing the Web while camped out in front of the TV; seven cameras will be streaming live to NBC.com, AccessHollywood.com, Ustream and Emmys.com during the program, hopefully capturing candid moments, extended thank-yous and emotional breakdowns.

The Emmys will be airing this Sunday, August 29th on NBC. Visit the Emmy Awards' page here to submit your own presenter intros via Twitter, and let's all hope that Fallon picks yours.
