While Netflix customers have been able to stream movies and TV shows to their iPads, iPhone and iPod touch users have been inexplicably left out in the cold -- until today, that is.
Netflix has officially announced that its premium streaming video service will be coming to the more pocketable of Apple's iOS devices. Netflix customers can now download the free app, and access the full Watch Instantly library over both 3G and Wi-Fi. While you can add, remove and reorganize your instant queue, the red envelope and DVD-addicted among you will find yourselves sorely disappointed, as you can no longer manage your DVD queue from within the app.
The new Netflix streaming app requires that you run iOS 3.13 or higher on your iPhone or iPod touch, and that you pay (obviously) the monthly subscription fees. Check out the gallery below for some hands-on shots of the new Netflix for iOS 4 in action.
