Every year or two, our township changes trash service to try to get the best financial deal. The problem with this is that evry refuse company has different rules. The current trash company practically wants us to gift-wrap the garbage in spite of the fact that I pay almost $8000 yearly in property taxes. There should be two pails-one for household garbage and one for recycling period. It should be up to teh trash company to separate the recycling material, not the household. Also if certain containers are required, they should be funished free-of-charge by the township or the trash company. No wonder many people give up with recycling. If you make it ahuge job, people just give up.
