Watching Twitter tonight has taught me one thing, Phillies fans are a bunch of whiny dicks. But it's ok, every tank needs a bottom feeder.

And I thought I wanted to hug Johan last week. I think I'm officially in love.

this makes sense based on my situation. So much of college/university work is based on learning-to-learn. The best way to learn material is to be discussing it, successful students do that. I saw this when I was working on an engineering degree. The kids doing best weren't necessarily the smartest, they were the best at accomplishing the goals... I saw lots of kids drop out because they lacked a social connection to the material.
I think another thing holds true that people who do more have more time to do things. It would seem to be counter intuitive, but I see that people that have more places to go and people to see, do better at work and school because their schedule forces time priorities, to focus on the task NOW as best they can so they can move on, versus the kid sitting at home pounding their head on books trying to force themselves to learn.
