White House Publishes Obama's Daily Agenda Online and in iCal
With two wars, an oil spill and a stagnant economy on his political agenda, President Obama is, in all likelihood, busier than you. Now, though, you can at least pretend like you lead the free world, by adding the POTUS's daily schedule to your own iCal. As the Next Web points out, the feature is clearly designed with the media in mind, as each scheduled event indicates the level of press coverage that will be permitted. A 'Daily Guidance' drop-down menu also gives users a glimpse at what the President has planned for the week -- pending, of course, the next natural disaster or Wikileaks controversy that unexpectedly pops up. So far, though, it looks like the President has wisely decided to take things one day at a time, and has even resisted the temptation to scrawl 'MY BIRTHDAY!' all over his August 4th itinerary.
Serious political junkies will probably be all over this, as will, of course, anyone keeping close tabs on Obama's golf schedule. Whether you love him or loathe him, though, you have to commend the President for sticking to his word, and opening up his world to the rest of us. [From: TheNextWeb]
