Facebook Rolls Out 'Delete Account' Option for Select Few

According to The Next Web, Facebook has begun testing a new 'delete account' option, which can "permanently delete your account and all information you have shared." In a statement sent to the Next Web, a Facebook representative confirmed the rumors, saying, "[W]e are constantly testing new ideas, including the placement of various features. One of these recent tests included variations of the delete account option for a very small percentage of people." So far, we haven't seen any screenshots of the new feature, and it's still not clear whether Facebook is seriously considering implementation or just throwing a bone to the restless factions. Either way, it's definitely encouraging to see that the social network is responding to user complaints (however tepidly), and finally acknowledging the painful reality that some people really do want to quit. I had to commit several terms of service violations to get my account disabled. After a few weeks the setup of my page was taken down. I felt bad to have to make these violations but I wanted my page deleted from the system. How many million people just had all their information collected by an outside source including telephone number's, screen names and email address ? I think the number may have been over 100 million but I am not sure so that may be untrue but I do think I am in the Ballpark.
